The start of my summer 2014 was spent with the staff of Porter Novelli New York, a global PR firm in the heart of downtown Manhattan. For 6 days, I worked full time exploring the streets around their beautiful downtown office with the 75 person staff, and got to know each of them personally.
I was instructed to capture each individual's professionalism and personality by framing them in the left half of the image, shooting from the waist/chest level and up, and keeping the vibrant NYC feel in the background. For consistency, I used a Canon 6D with a Canon 50mm f/1.2L lens at f/1.8 throughout.
